Child Safety Standards
Effective date: September 10, 2026 · Last updated: September 10, 2026
1. Our Commitment
Midnight Insomnia, operated by Golub Softworks, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Protecting minors from abuse and exploitation is a condition of using Midnight Insomnia, and these standards apply to every user of the app, regardless of age or location.
Zero tolerance: any account that creates, shares, requests, or facilitates child sexual abuse and exploitation is permanently removed, and confirmed CSAM is reported to the appropriate authorities.
2. Prohibited Conduct and Content
CSAE refers to child sexual abuse and exploitation, including content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. CSAM refers to child sexual abuse material, including any visual depiction involving a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
Midnight Insomnia prohibits all of the following, without exception:
- creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or linking to child sexual abuse material;
- grooming, or attempting to groom, a minor for sexual purposes;
- sextortion, sexual coercion, or any sexualized communication involving a minor;
- trafficking, sexual exploitation, or sexual abuse of a minor;
- using the app to contact, locate, or arrange meetings with a minor for sexual purposes.
These prohibitions apply to messages, reactions, display names, profile content, and any other use of the service. Attempts to circumvent enforcement, including moving the same conduct to another account, are also prohibited.
3. Age Requirement
Midnight Insomnia is intended only for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 17 to use the service. Accounts that we learn belong to a minor are removed.
4. Reporting a Concern
Users can report child safety concerns directly from inside the app:
- Open Profile → Safety & Support → Report a concern to contact us.
- Or email zorbeytorunoglu@gmail.com.
Please include as much detail as you can (what happened, approximate time, and the display name used) so we can act quickly. Reports are treated confidentially, and we do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith.
5. How We Respond
- Review every report promptly and investigate the conduct or content involved.
- Remove prohibited content and permanently ban accounts that violate these standards.
- Preserve evidence in accordance with applicable law to support authority reporting and law enforcement requests.
- Report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) (https://report.cybertip.org/) and/or the relevant regional or national authority, and cooperate with law enforcement.
6. Reporting to Authorities
When we obtain actual knowledge of confirmed CSAM on our platform, we remove it and report it to NCMEC through the CyberTipline at https://report.cybertip.org/, or to the relevant regional or national authority where NCMEC is not the applicable reporting body. We comply with applicable child safety laws and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement or emergency services first.
7. Point of Contact
The designated point of contact for these standards and for CSAM prevention compliance is:
Zorbey Torunoglu · Golub Softworks · zorbeytorunoglu@gmail.com
8. Related Policies
