Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your Midnight Insomnia account and the data associated with it directly in the app:

1. Open Midnight Insomnia and go to your Profile.
2. Tap Delete Account in the settings section.
3. Confirm the deletion when prompted. The app asks our server to delete your account and then signs you out.

Deletion starts immediately and cannot be undone.

If you can no longer sign in or use the in-app option, email zorbeytorunoglu@gmail.com and ask us to delete your account. We may ask for the information needed to identify the account before we proceed.

When your deletion is processed, we delete:

• Your user record on our servers, including your display name and avatar selection, account identifiers, timestamps, usage statistics, achievements, and premium status.
• Your billing customer record held with our subscription provider (RevenueCat), removing your subscription identity from our billing systems.
• Your Firebase Authentication account. Active sessions for the account are revoked.

When you delete your account in the app, the app also clears locally stored data on your device and signs you out.

Chat messages are not deleted because they are never stored: the room keeps at most 50 messages in server memory only, and they are lost when the server restarts.

We keep a minimal record that a deletion was requested and processed (status, timestamps, and any provider error summaries) for operational integrity and to demonstrate compliance.

Purchase records held by Google Play, the Apple App Store, or RevenueCat may be retained by those providers under their own privacy policies and legal obligations, such as tax, accounting, and fraud prevention. We do not control those retention periods.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription purchased through a store. Cancel the subscription in your Google Play or App Store account settings.

Deletion is normally processed immediately. If a third-party provider is temporarily unavailable, the deletion is marked as pending and we complete the remaining cleanup.
